Solskjaer will ‘happily’ sell star player Pogba in January.
Manchester United manager Solskjaer may be ready to money in on star player Paul Pogba in the January transfer-
window, Pogba, 26, has not played for Man United since the 1-1 draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford on the 30th
September and is thought to be looking for a move to Real Madrid. Where head coach Zinedine Zidane has ‘not just
love, but pure passion’ for the player.
It has even been a call for in both the Spanish and English press that Paul Pogba has been faking the injury because he doesn’t want to play for United again, forcing the player to respond by uploading photos of his treated ankle on Instagram. Solksjaer, too, has moved to rumors that the Frenchman’s dissatisfaction, at Old Trafford.
However, a piece of recent news claims that in spite of Solskjaer’s public support for the player, privately he is
irritated with the player and that there is a certainty Solskjaer would gladly sell Pogba in January, in the
process freeing up a deep well of assets.
Whether Pogba does leave in the January Transfer window will rest on both on how much Real Madrid, or Juventus, who also want to sign their former player, are eager to pay, and whether United can save the signing of a quality player to boost the midfield. United will perhaps have to lower the asking price from £120 million to somewhere between £50 and £80 million, something that executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward will be very hesitant to do.
Let’s see what happens next…
